Welcome to Flexie, an AI-powered platform that instantly connects Companies (Companies or Job Posters) with local untapped talent (Flexers or Job Seekers) . A Company can post various jobs including temporary shifts, short-term projects, part-time jobs, full-time jobs, or internships, and gets instantly matched with a Flexer based on their preferences.

This privacy policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains the privacy practices of Flexie mobile applications, the www.Flexie.com website, and other associated Flexie services (the “Services”). This Privacy Policy also governs your relationship with Flexie Inc., a North Carolina corporation (“Flexie,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). We refer to users of the Flexie Services as “User,” “Users,” “Companies,” “Flexers,” “you,” or “your,” as appropriate. Please read this Privacy Policy in full before using the Services. By using our Services, you are consenting to our use of your data as explained in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not access or use any of the Services.

Flexie will update this Privacy Policy over time, and the “Last Updated” date at the top of the Privacy Policy will list the last date we updated this Privacy Policy. In the event we make minor changes that do not materially affect your rights, we will post the updated Privacy Policy on the website. If we make a change that materially affects your rights, we will notify you by email, through the Flexie Services, or by requiring you to review and accept updated Terms before continuing to use the Services.

WHAT WE COLLECT

We get information about Users in a variety of ways.

Information You Give Us.

We collect information such as your name, date of birth, email address, username, password as well as other information you directly give us on our Services as part of creating a Company or Flexer profile (“Account”) during the onboarding process or your responses to surveys.

For Flexers, we also collect information necessary match you with a potential Job Opportunity. Other information pertaining to a Company’s employment requirements might be required. Flexers aged 14 to 17 might be required to submit a Youth Employment ID from the state’s Department of Labor.

 

HOW WE MAY USE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Flexie processes, stores, and uses your personal information to serve you through its Services. Here are some common ways in which we use your personal information:

  • Allowing Companies to post Jobs
  • Allowing Flexers to view and accept Jobs
  • Delivering communications from other Accounts by in-app messaging in accordance with your Account settings
  • Operating, maintaining and improving our sites, applications, and services
  • Responding to comments and questions with regard to customer service
  • Researching new ways to improve the Flexie Services

WHEN WE MAY SHARE YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We will only share your personal data with third parties under the following circumstances.

  • We may share personal information with your consent.
  • We may share personal information when we do a business deal, or negotiate a business deal, involving the sale or transfer of all or a part of our business or assets. These deals can include any merger, financing, acquisition, or bankruptcy transaction or proceeding. If we share personal information for these purposes, the promises in this Privacy Policy will continue to apply to your data as part of a transfer to a new entity.
